Billie Paul Rhein Jr., 66 of Omaha, Nebraska, died peacefully at home on December 18, 2019, surrounded by love and his family.
He was born on November 23,1953, to Billie P. Rhein Sr. and Mary E. Rhein in Fremont, Nebraska.
Billie joined the US Navy in 1972 and was deployed to Japan in 1974 during the Vietnam War.
He married Darla Rhein on February 09, 1974 and they had 3 children, Sara, Melissa and Nicole.
He worked 44 years in the meat industry and during retirement started his own consulting business to pass on his knowledge.
He enjoyed deep sea fishing and love spending time with his wife, family, friends, and grandchildren.
Bill is survived by his wife Darla; 3 children, Sara Orr, Melissa and Adam Garcia, Nicole and Eric Brabec; 10 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; 4 siblings, Frank Rhein, Jerry Rhein, Ramona Davis and Jimmy Rhein.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Billie and Mary Rhein.
Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m., on December 30th, 2019, at Memorial Cemetery in Fremont, Nebraska.
A celebration of life will be held at Stonebridge Church,1041 N Nye Ave., Fremont, NE 680205 following the graveside service.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family in lieu of flowers.
