Allen was born in East Omaha, Nebraska in 1939. In the early 1960's, he joined the army and frequently talked about being stationed in Hawaii during Peace Time. In November 2009, Allen became a grandpa to a beautiful baby girl named Sophia. Sophia and he would often argue like brother and sister.
Anyone that knew Allen understood his love of telling stories of the past. He enjoyed watching wrestling a few times a week. He also enjoyed telling jokes especially knock, knock jokes. His latest favorite jokes had something to do with an elephant and potfir. If you talked to Allen, you know what a potfir is. He always preferred a good comedy over a show with violence.
