Artis D'Wayne Anderson passed away on April 6, 2026, at the age of 53.

He was a man of strength, presence, and heart. He fought hard, loved deeply, and stood firm in who he was. Through everything, he remained himself: true, real, unfiltered, and full of love for his family.

He is survived by his wife, Michanette Colón-Anderson; his mother, Gracie Hill (Royford) Laing; his father, Artis (Janie) Anderson; his sons, Brandon Anderson, Artis Anderson, and Isaiah Anderson; his stepson, Isaiah Colón; his godson, Patrick Gordon; his daughters, Shawnacee Anderson and Mi'Anna Anderson; his brother, Roy Laing; his sisters, Yolanda Michelle Anderson and Brittney (David) Jarett; four grandchildren, along with an extended family of aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

A direct cremation will take place in accordance with his wishes. The family and extended family will honor his life in their own way at a later time.

He will be deeply missed and forever loved. Love Is Love, Always and Forever.
