Beverly Armstead

Beverly Armstead passed away September 8, 2025 in Omaha, Nebraska at the age of 70 years.
She was born January 27, 1955 in Baltimore, Maryland.

Beverly is survived by her children Daneille (Jeffery) Simms and Justin Chase; grandchildren Kayleigh Simms and Jaylen Chase; sisters are Annette Armstead and Jeanette Martin.

She Received her education in Baltimore city public schools. Beverly Armstead worked for the Board of education for 35 years and also graduated from Chesapeake College in Wye Mills Maryland. Beverly received her Social Arts and Early Childhood Development degree and taught school in Talbot County (Easton Maryland).

She was a preschool teacher. She enjoyed children and she loved to go to church. She also was a published author that wrote Christian books. Writing books was her passion. Beverly was also a minister of a church that she attended in Norfolk, Virginia. She loved witnessing the goodness of the Lord. She would even go door to door and pass out Christian flyers.

She will be remembered as a strong, hard-working woman and mother and grandmother.
