Brandon Michael Schmidt

Brandon Michael Schmidt passed away on May 6, 2026, in Bellevue at the age of 33. He was born on January 17, 1993, in Lake City.

Brandon was a devoted husband, loving father, cherished son, brother, and loyal friend whose presence brought warmth, laughter, and comfort to everyone around him. He had a way of making people smile no matter the situation, and his kindness and sense of humor will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his wife, Molly Schmidt; his beloved children, Oliver, Declan, Eleanor, Theo, and Audrey; his parents, Mark and Julie Schmidt; his sisters, Brooke Schmidt and Hannah Schmidt; along with many extended family members and dear friends who will forever carry his memory in their hearts.

Brandon loved the outdoors and found joy in fishing, hunting, golfing, and riding his motorcycle. He was an avid football fan, especially cheering on the Iowa Hawkeyes. He also enjoyed video games and treasured every moment spent with his wife and children. Above all else, Brandon was a hardworking and dedicated man who loved his family deeply and worked tirelessly to provide for them.

Though his time here was far too short, the love Brandon gave, the laughter he shared, and the memories he created will live on forever in the hearts of those who loved him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered."
