Carol Rae Squibb

Carol Rae Squibb passed away on July 21st after donating her organs to save the lives of others.

Carol was adopted by her parents, Jack and Lois Holt, both of whom preceded her in death. She grew up alongside her brother, Kelly Holt. She was also preceded in death by her brothers from Lois's first marriage: Ron Johnson and Edward "Johnny" Johnson, as well as Ron's wife, Joan, and Denny's wife, Linda.

Carol was the mother of one son, Stevie Johnson.

She is survived by her special friend, Vincent Baldwin; her brother, Kelly (Sharon) Holt; her brothers, Denny Johnson and Steve (Susan) Johnson; and her sister-in-law, JoAnn.

She is also survived by her nieces and nephews: Denman Johnson, Ryan Johnson, Dirk Johnson, Karen Shelton, Debbie Heckman, Jerry Asper, Jodi Eberly, Jarred Olaf Johnson, Jamie Johnson, Stephanie McCutcheon, and Staci Moorman. She was preceded in death by her nephew, Jeremy Johnson.

Carol worked for over 20 years at Hilton. She loved cats and found comfort and companionship in them throughout her life.

Carol will be remembered for her kind heart and giving nature. Her final act of donating her organs reflects the selfless way she lived her life. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
