Charles Henry Johnson

Charles "CJ" Henry Johnson, age 68, passed away peacefully on June 22, 2026, in Bellevue, Nebraska. He was born on February 21, 1958, in Omaha, Nebraska.

He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Oscar and Betty Johnson.

CJ is survived by the great love of his life, his wife of 21 years, Vicki Johnson; his children Shannon (Michael) Miller, Roger (Michaela) Johnson, Ottomina (Andy) Hopkins, Chad (Katheryn) Robison, Robie Robison, Terra (Anthony) Asta, and Kevin Vosler; countless grandchildren and great-grandchildren; his brothers Dan (Margie) Johnson, John (Jean) Johnson, Jerry (Tammy †) Johnson, and Thomas Johnson, Sr.; his sister Shirley (Corkey †) Caniglia; and a wide circle of nieces, nephews, and cherished friends.

CJ lived life on his own terms. He enjoyed karaoke, riding his motorcycle, and spending time with his four Huskies. But his greatest joy was putting on the big red suit each Christmas season along with Vicki as Mrs. Claus - he took his role as Santa Claus seriously, and the people around him knew it.

CJ leaves behind a legacy of laughter, love, and the reminder that the greatest gift we can give one another is joy. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
