Daniel Robert Nielsen

Dan was a loving father and son, passionate athlete, dedicated police officer, and skilled craftsman. He was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone whether they were family and friends or strangers.

He is preceded in death by his Father, Paul; Brother, Rodney. He is survived by his Mother, Carol; Children, Rob, Allie, Jordy, and Johnny; Granddaughter, Millie; Siblings, Debbie, Brad, and Dwight; and many more family and friends.

Celebration of Life Open House will be held on Wednesday, May 1st from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm at the Omaha Police Officer’s Association Hall (13445 Cryer Ave, Omaha, NE 68144).
