Daniel Eugene Vance

Daniel Eugene Vance, age 42, of Papillion, Nebraska, passed away on March 2, 2026. He was born on October 3, 1983, in Council Bluffs, Iowa.

Daniel was a loving brother and uncle who cared deeply for his family. He also had a great passion for football and was a devoted fan of the Detroit Lions and the Iowa State Cyclones football. Following his teams and cheering them on brought him great enjoyment.

Daniel was preceded in death by his father, David Vance; his mother, Barbara Briggs; and his sister, Angela Gale.

He is survived by his sister, Bobbi Kruse and her husband Jason Kruse; his brother, David Vance Jr.; his niece, Kaycia Kruse-Lee and her husband Jason; his nephew, Austin Kruse and his significant other Kady; and his great-nephew, Damon Wayne Kruse Lee.

Daniel will be remembered for his love of family and the memories shared with those closest to him. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

A celebration of life for his family and friends will be announced at a later date.
