Darlene B Ernst

Darlene B. Ernst (Stietzel), 86, was born in Chicago, IL on March 12, 1938.  She passed away peacefully on March 18, 2024 surrounded by her loving family in Omaha, NE. 

She was preceded in death by her parents Charles Stietzel and Alice Stietzel-Dasbach, her brother Edward Stietzel, and countless loved ones. 

She is survived by her husband and best friend of 66 years, Richard Ernst, her 3 children Kimberly Duckworth (Michael), Jolene Buckingham (Mary), Jeff Ernst (Sonji), 8 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and her brother Steven (Sandra). 

Darlene was loved by a large circle of family and friends, and will be deeply missed. A celebration of her wonderful life will be announced in the coming weeks.
