Glen James Hollingshead, Jr.

Glen James Hollingshead, Jr., of Omaha. Born 2/13/1971 in Omaha, lived in various places in California;Okinawa, Japan; Sioux Falls, SD; Spencer, IA; Orlando, FL. Firstborn child of a 23 year Marine Corps veteran, making it somehow appropriate that his passing would happen on 11/10, the Marine Corps birthday. His short 47 years on this earth were often filled with doctor visits and hospital stays. The happiest time in his life was the 4 years he was able to work at Disney World in Florida, the "Happiest Place on Earth." His illnesses wouldnt allow him any longer than a mere 4 years, but he and Mickey had a great time while it lasted!

Survived by parents Glen and Marge Hollingshead; Sister Gail (Sean) Rankin, nephews Gabriel Hollingshead and Jacob Rankin; special aunts Mary (Jim) Anderson and Patti (Don) Shaul; all of Omaha; Uncle Bob (Cindy) Hollingshead of Blair; long-time special friend Joel Lensch of Omaha, many cousins and friends.

A celebration of Glen Jr's life will be held on May 11, 2019, 12 noon, at The Arboretum, 8141 Farnam Dr, Omaha. Family and friends are invited to come and share their prayers, thoughts, and memories of Jr.

Eternal rest grant onto him, Lord. May he rest in peace.
