Jeremy Archibald

Jeremy Gene Archibald, 55, of Council Bluffs, IA, passed away on December 17, 2025, at Mercy Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.

Jeremy was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Archibald; brother, Eugene Archibald; grandmothers, Donna Vinson and Beverly Talcott; aunt, Pebel Carroll; and cousins, Monty Sellers, Mickie Carroll, and Kandon Becker.

He is survived by his mother, Goldie Archibald (Glenn Hanson) of Griswold, IA; daughter, Aela Archibald of Council Bluffs, IA; significant other, Lori McSherry of Council Bluffs, IA; sister, Heather Johnson (Jon Johnson) of Oakland, IA; as well as his niece, nephews, great-nephew, and many beloved aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Jeremy graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1988. He had a passion for movies, discovering new restaurants, cooking, anime, isekai, and gaming.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Jeremy's gentle spirit, easy laugh, and steadfast love for his family will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew him. We carry him with us, always.
