Jessica Marie Rich

Jessica Rich, 33, of Plattsmouth Nebraska, passed away suddenly on August 12, 2026. She was born on July 21, 1993, to the late Bryan Rich and Deborah Rich (Hartz).

Jessica was a sweet, kind, empathetic young lady. She enjoyed helping people. She loved animals, particularly her cat Flynn. She was an artist. Although she never felt her artwork was quite good enough, she shared it with friends and family. Jessica worked at Hy-Vee for ten years where she enjoyed helping both customers and her fellow employees.

In addition to her father, Jessica was preceded in death by her grandfathers Charles Hartz and Harold Rich, her grandmother Marjorie Rich, her uncles David Rich and Gene Rich.

Jessica is survived by her mother, her grandmother Mary Lou Hartz, her uncles Eric Hartz, Kirk Hartz, Van Rich and her aunt Terry Broderson, as well as many cousins.

Jessica will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

A celebration of life will be held on September 20, 2026, at the VFW in Plattsmouth, NE from 3 - 5 pm.
