Joan Lucas

Joan M. Lucas passed away May 4, 2024 in Glenwood, Iowa at the age of 84 years. She was born June 26, 1939 in Omaha, Nebraska.

Joan is preceded in death by her husband, Anton "Tony" Lucas; parents James and Ann Povondra; brother James Povondra; and sister Patricia Seaton.

She is survived by her children Angela Lucas, Annette (Timothy) O'Brien, and Alison (Richard) Palmer; grandchildren Lucas Palmar and Skylar Palmar; brothers Ronald (Mary Ann) Povondra and Robert (Dorothy †) Povondra; nieces, nephews, and other family.

VISITATION Friday, from 9:30am-10:30am with MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL at 10:30am at the Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church (24116 Marian Ave - Glenwood). Private Family Interment at Calvary Cemetery at a later date. Memorials may be directed to the family.
