Karen Nelson, age 63, passed away on March 23, 2025.
Karen was born on July 11, 1961 in Omaha, NE to Everette and Irene Nelson.
Karen was a simple woman who cared greatly for her grandchildren/great grandchildren
She was preceded in death by her parents Everette and Irene Nelson and son Danny Lee Nelson.
She is survived by her husband of 45 years Gene Jerome; children Scott (Melody) Nelson, Lisa Nelson, and Bryon (Chrystal) Nelson; siblings Marilyn, JR, Donald, and Diane; grandchildren Mikayla, Breanna, Ava, Zoey, Alex, Chris, Ashlan, Jaiden, Brayden, Karsin, Johnathan, Zaylen, Aiden, and Ryker; and great-grandchildren Arianna and Ainsleigh.
A Celebration of life will be held Saturday March 29th at 11AM at 600 16th Avenue, Council Bluffs, IA
