Kathleen Agnes Clement

John 14:27 - "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give it to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled or afraid."

It is with much sadness we must say goodbye to Kathleen, our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and cherished friend. Kathleen passed suddenly in her home at the age of 82. We will be sad because we will miss her, but we know that she is in Heaven, no longer enduring pain, suffering or sorrow.

Kathleen was born into what would become a large family tree with many branches. Her twin sister, Katherine, and she were the first-born children of Lester and Agnes Johnson. Kathleen attended Omaha Public Schools and went on to start a family branch of her own. She worked, lived and contributed to her community of Omaha, NE her entire life. Kathleen's first career calling was that of a server. She worked at several Omaha landmark restaurants including Johnny's Café, Jericho's and Caniglia's Venice Inn. Later on, she worked as an associate at Peel's, ADT & the American Red Cross. One of her greatest joys in life was spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, going out to eat and watching old movies. Another great joy was her bible study and listening to Christian music. Oh, did she love hearing Elvis sing the gospel songs!

Kathleen met the love of her life, Lynn Clement Jr. in 1995. They did everything together in faith and enduring love, until he passed in 2013. She held fast to her trust in the Lord our God's promise of eternal life and the glorious reunion of loved ones. Kathleen was also preceded in death by her parents; father Lester E. Johnson Jr. and mother Agnes V. (Kelly) Pentagulio; son Michael A. Kanger; daughter Kelly A. Foley; sister Gloria J. Johnson; and brother Lester E. Johnson III.

Kathleen is survived by daughters Katherine K. Jenkins and Susan C. Larkin; son Kenneth J. Kanger; sisters Katherine McGinnis, Gladys Horr, Leslie Roberts, Christine Slaight, Judy Nemitz, and Janice Golka; brother Henry Pentagulio Jr.; nine grandchildren Danny, Cherie, Cale, Amber, Krista, Keith, Andy, Lance, and Trevor; nineteen great-grandchildren Trinity, Tré, Carmine, McKenna, Jada, Zeke, Jacob, Amari, Corrin, Kolten, Iris, Ryker, Adrian, Jaxson, Jaycee, Gavin, Rosalind, Amelia, and David III; many nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.

Per Kathleen's final wishes, there will be no viewing, visitation or service. A private family gathering will be held at a later date. Memorials may be directed to the Salvation Army, North Corps Community Center, 2424 Pratt St, Omaha, NE, 68111-2941.
