Kathryn Anne Brink

Kathryn Anne Brink passed away March 28, 2026, in Omaha, Nebraska at the age of 51 years due to complications from stage 4 pancreatic cancer. She was born October 2, 1974 in Omaha.

Kathryn is preceded in death by her mother, Julie Carlson.

She is survived by her husband of 29 years, Shawn Brink; children Zoe Brink, Josh Brink, Elijah Brink, and Paige Brink; father Thomas Carlson; brother Thomas Carlson, Jr.; and nieces, nephews, and other family.

We take comfort in knowing she is now with Jesus, hearing the words, "Well done, my good and faithful servant," and that she is free from pain for all eternity.

Katie was a beloved daughter, wife, mother, and friend to so many. Her kindness and faith touched every life she encountered, and we will miss her deeply for the rest of our earthly lives, until we are reunited with her again. May we all remember her as a shining light of God's love.

All who wish to attend Katie's memorial service are welcome. It will be held at Thanksgiving church, 3702 S. 370 Plaza, Bellevue, NE 68123, on Wednesday, April 15, at 2:00 p.m. Central Time - service will be followed by coffee and fellowship.
