Kenneth A. Hartman

Kenneth A. Hartman, 58, passed peacefully at home on Tuesday, August 3rd, 2021, following a long fight with cancer. Ken was born in Toms River, NJ and moved around the east coast with his father's military career before settling primarily in Connecticut. His own military service with the USAF brought him to Omaha, NE in 1981 and he served 4 years before an honorable discharge in 1985. In 1987, his only child Ashleigh was born and he became the most loving and dedicated father. His work travels brought him around the world from Cork, Ireland to Paris, France but he always came back to Omaha. He married Pam Jepperson on April 28, 2015 and the two adored traveling, especially any vacation with fishing. His stubbornness, big laugh, and tall-tale stories will be forever missed.

Ken is survived by his wife, Pam; daughter Ashleigh (Corey) Miller; step-daughter Nicole (Gregory) Holmquist; step-son Tyler Gaines; step-son Zach (Ellie) Jepperson; step-son Tanner (Alycia) Jepperson; step-grandchildren Josiah, Selah, Austin, Lucas, Aiden, Lacey, Brycen, and Alexis; sisters Barbara Aubrey, of Altoona, PA, Sherryl Hartman, of Lincoln, DE, and Marlene Hartman, of Newark, DE; 2 nephews, Shaunn and Justin, his dog Jasmine "Jazz" Hartman. Preceded in death by parents Lowell and Viola (Santucci) Hartman.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at Faith Westwood United Methodist Church, 4814 Oaks Lane, Omaha, NE.

A private graveside service for family will be held at a later date.

The family has requested that remembrances be made in the form of contributions to Nebraska Humane Society and/or Open Door Mission.
