Lawrence (Larry) T. Braddy passed away surrounded by Loved ones on 9 September 2025 in Papillion, Nebraska. Larry was born in Atlanta, Georgia on 2 March 1947 and married Linda C. Braddy on 4 December 1965 in Atlanta, Georgia. He graduated from the University of Nebraska with a Software Engineering Degree.

Larry spent 20 years in the US ARMY with tours of duty in Korea, Germany, Italy and Turkey. Their family had three daughters, Lara Christine was born in Heidelberg Germany, Lisa Nicole was born in Naples Italy and Jenny Elizabeth was also born in Naples Italy. He also has 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Upon retirement from the ARMY, Larry became a Communications Software Engineer at Northrop Grumman in Bellevue, Nebraska.

All throughout his married life and while stationed in Europe, he planned trips for the family throughout Europe, visiting landmarks, monuments, battlefields, shrines, ruins and meeting Pope John Paul one week before the attempted assassination, and documenting their travels with video and photographs. After retirement to civilian life, Larry continued planning for traveling adventures that he and Lin made by trekking throughout the United States for weeks and weeks.

His hobbies were ancestry and genealogical studies along with photography. The family traveled throughout their lives and Larry would document the adventures by taking movies and photographs of their travels.

Larry's absolutely incredible pranks and sense of humor were well known throughout our family and HE always received the unanimous vote making him Number Prankster!
