Leif Birger Skomedal, age 78, of Omaha, NE., passed away Friday, July 8, 2016.
He was born in Nodeland, Norway on March 9, 1938 to Olav and Marie (Thorkildsen) Skomedal. Leif worked at Ideal Concrete where he retired after 34 years of service.
Leif is preceded in death by his parents, wife; Dorothy (2000), son; Brian and 4 brothers.
He is survived by his sons; Randolph Skomedal (Kathleen), John Randolph, daughters; Brenda Skomedal-Kastens (Russ), Christina Tiller (Jerry), Kara Herrera (Mike), 15 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and a host of family and friends.
Visitation: Monday, July 11, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Bethel Christian Ministries, 3702 Giles Road, Bellevue, NE. A Celebration of Life Service: Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. also at the church. Inurnment will be at Westlawn-Hillcrest Cemetery. The family will direct memorials.
