Our beloved Lorenzo "Willie" Martinez passed away May 19th, 2017 at his home surrounded by his family.
He was born on May 8th, 1935 in Amalia, New Mexico, to Silberio & Marceanian (Ortiz) Martinez.
He is survived by his wife Lois (Myers) Martinez daughters- Rose (Ed), Tina (Mike), & Diane. Sons - Larry, Dan (Nancy), Duane & Rob. Numerous grandchildren & great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 sons- Jerry, Jim& Richard and 1 daughter- Veronica.
He worked in the coal mines & retired from the Union Pacific Railroad.
His hobbies included gardening, growing flowers, fruits and vegetables. He adored his animals and spending time with his family & friends. He loved attending services at Community Church Leshara. Memorial service is 5:00 p.m. on Saturday May 27, 2017 at the Community Church in Leshara, Nebraska - 209 Summit St, Leshara, NE 68064
