Marvin Lee Ellington, 75, was born in Clay County, Missouri on April 30, 1951. Marvin spent most of his career living in Wichita, KS and retired to Omaha, NE. He passed away peacefully on August 24, 2026 at Omaha's Josie Harper Hospice House.
Marvin was preceded in death by his parents Marvin and Mattie Ellington, his siblings George Purcell and Mary Ann Farmer, his wife Ann and son Richard.
Marvin is survived by his sister Evelyn (Tom) Clemens, his daughters Loralie (Ryan) Hodges and Karen (Brian) McGuire, and granddaughters Hailee and Hannah Hodges.
Marvin was a retired airline pilot and flight instructor. He enjoyed anything to do with airplanes, traveling with his family, and spending time with his granddaughters. He was kind to all he encountered and was known for his sense of humor.
In lieu of flowers, his daughters ask that a donation be made in his name to the Josie Harper Hospice House: Home - Hospice House
