Rhonda Christensen passed away on September 25, 2026, in Omaha, NE.

Rhonda was born on July 25, 1976, to Susan Frane and Forbes Yorker. She grew up as one of four children alongside her siblings, Holly Washechek, Kelley Jones, and Edward Jones.

Throughout her life. family remained at the heart of who she was.

She was the proud mother of three children, Nicholas, Brooklyn, and Domonic; and five step-children: Kaylee, Harlee, Denim. Joslynn, and Gage.

One of her greatest joys was becoming a grandmother to LaRue Bymer-Ramsey, who held a very special place in her heart.

She was preceded in death by her father, Forbes Yorker; and her husband, Jason Christensen.

She leaves behind her mother, Susan Jones; Mother in Law Jan Christensen; her three children, Nicholas Bymer of Dix, Nebraska, Brooklyn Bymer of Sidney, Nebraska, and Domonic Christensen of Sidney, Nebraska; step-children: Kaylee Christensen, Harlee Hotes, Denim Hotes (Madison), Joslynn Hotes, Gage Hotes; step-grandchildren: Lily, Lucy, Elden, Grayson, Zeus, and Emerson; her siblings, Holly, Kelley, and Edward; fiancé, Dave Hotes; and the many extended family members and friends whose lives were touched by her presence.

Her memory will live on through the stories shared, the laughter remembered, the lessons she passed along, and the love she gave to those around her. The people who knew and loved her will carry pieces of her with them always.

As we gather to celebrate her life, we remember not only how deeply she will be missed, but also the life she lived, the family she created, and the memories that will continue to be shared for generations to come.
