Robert Michael Gregoire

Feb 10, 1956 — May 29, 2026

Robert “Bob” Michael Gregoire was born to Robert and Victoria Gregoire on February 10, 1956 in Japan.

Bob served in the U.S. Navy, and later worked at Campbell Soup and the Veterans Administration in Environmental Services. Bob would call himself a “couch potato” who loved watching TV, especially the news and America’s Got Talent. Like his father, Bob was a die-hard New York Yankees fan.

Bob loved to help people, however he could. Bob was resilient as he recovered from a stroke in July 2025 that left him partially blind in one eye; he always had a good attitude and forged ahead. He became known as the Beep-Beep man in therapy, always encouraging others to keep going. Bob was diagnosed with cancer in January and while he fought hard, Bob passed away peacefully on May 29, 2026 holding the love of his family in his heart, for love lasts forever.

Bob is survived by his siblings, Theresa Gregoire, Stephen Gregoire (Connie), Paulette Hawkins (Kevin) and five nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and Aunt Carol Flynn. He also leaves behind his two furry friends, Melvin and Koko. Bob was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Victoria Gregoire and brother Joseph Gregoire. A graveside service at the Omaha National Cemetery will be held on Friday, October 9, at 11:00 a.m.
