Robert Allan "Al" Wells, 82, of Sioux City, Iowa, passed away peacefully on September 9, 2026, surrounded by family.

Al was born September 15, 1943, in Sioux City to Clifford and Mildred Wells. He graduated from Central High School in 1961 and attended the University of South Dakota. He spent 41 years working in the sales department at Missouri Valley Steel.

Al enjoyed classic cars, car cruises and shows, volunteering at the Sioux City Public Museum, Wednesday dinners with friends, and traveling with his Omaha friends.

He is survived by his nephews, David (Connie) Wells and Daniel (Kristin) Wells; great-nephews Cole, Connor and Jerome; great-niece Adelyn; and sister-in-law Kathryn Wells.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Kaylene; his parents; and his brother, Gregory.

In accordance with Al's wishes, no funeral service will be held.
