Ronald Dean Brumbaugh II

Jul 31, 1961 — Aug 2, 2026

The family of Ronald Dean Brumbaugh II announces his passing on August 2nd, 2026 after his battle with Lewy body dementia.

Dean will be remembered and loved always by his wife and best friend of nearly 40 years, Charity; his children Nick (Christine) and Cassie (Jack); two grandchildren; his sisters Missy (Mike) and Julie (Rob), and many friends
He was preceded in death by his parents Ron Brumbaugh and Charlene Dier.

Dean was born in Grand Island, Nebraska, and spent part of his childhood in Alliance, North Platte and Omaha before his family settled at Villa Springs in Springfield, where he graduated from Platteview High School. After high school, he moved to Omaha, where he met the love of his life, Charity. Together they bought a house, made it a home and raised a family.

Dean worked in construction, owning a kitchen and bath remodeling business for a time before turning to sales in the early 1990s. He spent more than 20 years selling industrial packaging equipment and fasteners before taking an early retirement due to illness.
Even though he no longer worked in construction, Dean was always working on something. When he wasn’t working or tackling projects around the house, Dean could be found enjoying time with his family and friends, often volunteering to help them with their own projects. He enjoyed the outdoors, camping, hunting, fishing, hiking, ATVs, and a good sunrise.
He loved bringing people together, making others laugh, and creating lasting memories that will stay with those who knew him.

Family and friends will gather for a private Celebration of Life on August 15th to honor his memory, share stories, and celebrate his life. Those wishing to attend are invited to message the family for details.
