Ruby Irene Donnelly

Ruby Irene Donnelly, daughter of Thomas and Eva (Mulhair) Wecker, was born on August 23, 1932 in Plainview, Nebraska.
She married Charles Robert Donnelly on July 29, 1949. They raised seven children: Kathleen, Mary, Stephen, Thoma, Theresa, Kevin, and Daniel in Nebraska and then spent their retirement years in Arizona. Ruby dedicated her life to caring for her children, grandchildren, and the elderly. She always had pets and they were an important part of her life.
Ruby is survived by her children, Mary (Stan) Jacox of Bee, NE; Stephen (Nancy) Donnelly of Pleasant Dale, NE; Thoma (Jim) Bumgardner of Omaha, NE; Theresa (Mark) Heimann of Lincoln, NE; Kevin (Lizette) Donnelly of Peoria, AZ; Daniel Donnelly of Arizona; fourteen grandchildren, and seventeen great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Donnelly on April 16, 2002; infant son, Charles Thomas Donnelly; daughter, Kathleen Marie Donnelly; and her parents.
Visitation will be at 9:30 a.m. followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Monday, December 17, 2018 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Gretna, Nebraska. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery, Avondale, Arizona at a later date.
