Russell L. Owens

Russell "Russ", 65 of Sioux City, IA was called home to his higher power after a strong, hard battle with cancer. He was a rough around the edges blue collar man, who excelled in everything he did. Nascar, fishing and arts & crafts were a few of his favorite things. As well as, working on cars and tinkering with small engines. Which is a skill he passed down to his son. But most importantly, he loved his dogs.

Those greeting him at the pearly gates are his parents, Wayne and Kenna Mae Owens, his baby sister, Jodi Mae Larsen, and his companions, Abby, Buddy and Suka.

Those here to honor him daily are his children, Amber Owens, RN, Adam Owens, Alisha Owens and their significant others, Troy, Cris and Adrian, his sisters, Terry Stangl, Laura (Bruce) Duerksen and Karen (Dennis) Wright, 4 grandkids, Preston, Jaxon, Mackenzie and Tristan, 9 nieces and nephews, 13 great nieces and nephews and multiple aunts, uncles and cousins.
