Scott Saxer

October 12, 1962 — April 13, 2025

Scott M. Saxer aka Shotgun passed away in Omaha, NE at the age of 62. He was born in Columbus, NE October 1962.

Scott is proceeded in death by his son, Jacob Saxer; parents; Richard Saxer; Norma Kirkland (Irwin).

He is survived by his beloved wife, Barbie Kantor Saxer; son, Dustin Saxer; stepson, Jerry Hannum; Sibling, Rich Saxer; sister in law, Jody; niece and nephews; several grandchildren. Scott also leaves behind many close friends across the country that he considered his "brothers ".

Scott had great wit and sense of humor. He loved to make people laugh. Although a tough exterior, he had a heart of gold. He loved to fish, hunt, camp, cook and Harley Davison motorcycles. He deeply valued his family, America, President Trump and Jesus. He also loved animals. All kinds, especially his kitties. Yes, kitties. He said no one will touch his kitties. He had changed. He also loved to talk and tell his "tall tales about his fish" stories. He will be deeply, deeply missed.

A Celebration of Life will take place May 8, 2025 at 11:00 am, at Freeway Ministries Omaha 2101 Woolworth Ave. Omaha, NE 68108            (Located in a previous Army Fort)
