Shannon Downing, age 49, passed away September 18, 2022 at Jennie Edmundson Hospital, Council Bluffs, IA. She was born November 29, 1972 in Lincoln, Nebraska.
She is survived by her mother, Carolyn Duhrkop-Eastwood of Omaha, NE; and three siblings, Jason R. Duhrkop, Kirsten R. Duran, Devin J. Eastwood; 5 nieces and nephews; and a host of family and friends.
The family would like to express their deep appreciation to all the ER staff at Jennie Edmundson Hospital for the quick response to try and resuscitate Shannon once the ambulance brought her in under Cardiac arrest.
Private family services have been held.
We also would like to thank Chapel of Memories, of Omaha, NE, for all the arrangements and great services they did for Shannon. A special Thank You, goes to Andrea for her services through Chapel of Memories, she was very helpful & compassionate in our time of sadness.
