Vicki Lee Anderson (Urich), a beloved wife, mother, and friend, passed away peacefully on September 30th, 2026 at the age of 72 in Council Bluffs, IA. Born in Omaha, NE, to Sharron A. and Harold L. Urich, Vicki lived a life defined by her generosity, humor, and unwavering patience.

Vicki dedicated 22 years of her career as a Manager of Dry Cleaners, where her hard work and friendly nature touched many in the community. Beyond her professional life, she was an avid reader with a particular passion for cookbooks and a deep love for traveling. Her sense of humor and the profound value she placed on her family will be forever remembered by those who knew her.

Vicki is survived by her devoted husband of 40 years, Jay Anderson. She leaves behind her two sons, Matthew Lee Hanson and Wife Brandi and Markus William Hanson and Wife Angela. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren: Andrew Gray - Hanson (Grai), Ashley Reynolds (Donald), Katie Corum (Layton), Alec Hanson (Misty), Cydney Bryan, Michael Hanson, Cody Rablin, Lexi Hanson, Josh Hanson (Lauren), Riddick Bryan, and Nate Hanson, as well as nine great-grandchildren.

She is also survived by her sister, Kelley Archbald; brothers, Mike Urich, Dominic Quintana and Vincent Anthony Quintana; sister-in-law, Lori Reis; and brother-in-law, Jeff Anderson. Her memory lives on with her nieces, Velva Feelhaver (Kale), Burgundy Abboud, Shelby Urich, and Tiffany Richards; her nephews, Jeffery Urich, Christopher Urich, and Brandon Anderson; and her beloved dog, Boo Boo.

A testament to her strength, Vicki underwent open-heart surgery on May 4, 2023, a milestone that allowed her family and friends to cherish her presence for even longer. Her life was made richer by the love, companionship, and lasting friendships she shared with many special people, including her "Daughter in Love," Lisa Wingate, Alita Sulentic, Pam Nean Jamison, Pat Ozment, Jackie Anderson, Sharon "Snook" Cswercko, LouAnn Babar, Carol Poff, Janice Kousgaard, the late Cathy Legood, and many other dear friends and loved ones who were a treasured part of her life.

Vicki was preceded in death by her mother, Sharron Quintana; her father, Harold Urich; her brother, Joey Quintana; and her sister, Sue Rippy. She is also reunited with her cherished animal companions: El Tegra, Rusty, and Honey Bun.
