William was preceded in death by parents John and Terese Hearity and sister Kathleen Nemetz.
William is survived by wife of 38 years, Kristi Petersen Hearity; children; Kristina (Tina) Hearity, Patrick Hearity, Denise (Dede) Hearity and James Hearity; grandsons, Andre Strum, Ryder Hearity, James Hearity Jr., and Devin Hearity; sisters, Mary Rittenhouse (Bill), Sheila Gleason, Patricia Constantino (Mark), and Terese (Terri) McNaughton (Scott), many nieces, nephews, and very dear friends.
Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on December 19th, 2018 at Refuge Church, 634 Willow Avenue, Council Bluffs, IA. Celebration of Life to follow services.
