William True

William "Bill" True of Blair, Nebraska was born September 6, 1946, died May 28, 2025. Preceded in death by his parents Malcolm and Ruth, his sister Joan Wakeman True, son Landis. Survived by his wife Linda, daughter Stephanie True-Corr, daughter in law Patty True, son in law Noah Corr, and grandson Chase Corr.

Bill was an amateur radio operator with the call sign WA9ASD.

His goal in life was to make someone smile or laugh every day. He almost always met this goal.

He was a member of The Westerners, a group of history buffs, and ran a little quiz called "Stump the Corral" where he would find trivia about Nebraska and educate the group.
