Amy was born Amy Lee Hotchkiss to the late George Hotchkiss and Cleo Draper (Hotchkiss) on Thursday, April 15, 1948. Amy worked for Midwest Walnut Company from the mid 1970's through the early 1990's as a lumber and gunstock inspector. She also spent and enjoyed many years of her life researching genealogy and fancied spreading information about her family history. Her Granddaughters Kaley and Madelyn share fond memories of their grandma teaching them to play Skip-Bo and UNO.
Amy is survived by her companion Vic Plowman; Children Jacob Lange, Aubrey (Michael) Duncan, Rebekke (Kyan) Wallis; Siblings Sue (Hotchkiss) Kyner and Mark Hotchkiss, Grandchildren Jack and Alyssa Lange, Kaley Wallis, Madelyn and Preston Claar; Nieces and Nephews Wayne Jager, Jennifer (Jager) Newton, Justin Kyner, Ryann (Hotchkiss) Albritton, and John Hotchkiss.
She is preceded in death by her sibling Joel and his wife Lisa (Thurston) Hotchkiss, and sibling Mark's wife, Kelly (Stuart Smith) Hotchkiss.
