Obituary

JACOBS, ARTHUR MICHAEL
May 26, 1941 - August 14, 2022

After a tough battle fighting stage four metastatic lung cancer, Arthur transitioned from this world in comfort and with loving family at Josie Harper Hospice House in Omaha.
Preceded in death by parents, William and Freida Jacobs, and beloved son, Adam Heath Jacobs. Survived by brother, Spencer (Kathy); wife of 57 years, Linda (Moser); Daughter, Sarah (Steven) Hudson; Son, David (Michelle); Daughter-in-Law, Christine Jacobs. Seven fun and loving grandchildren; Griffin (Courtney) Hudson, Zoe Hudson, Joshua, Nathan and Frankie Jacobs, Seth and Liam Jacobs.
Arthur was born in Brooklyn and grew up in Queens surrounded by a large family. He was an electrician and a college student when he enlisted in the army and became an MP. Afterward he graduated from Kansas State University with a Business degree.
He lived a full and varied life involved in many business adventures, and as an owner of Dealers Body Truck Equipment in Kansas City and Badger Body & Truck Equipment in Omaha. He spent time as a stockbroker in Avon, CT.
Throughout his life he enjoyed traveling with family, in-home gatherings and being generous. Arthur loved betting on the horses and twice won a trip to the National Handicapping Contest in Las Vegas. He loved boating and deep sea fishing with family in Marco Island, FL and at Lewis and Clark Lake. He loved sports, both participating and watching.
Per his wishes, Arthur will be cremated and there will be no service. His life will be honored with a close family gathering later.
May His Memory Be a Blessing.
